Tesla Supercharger for Business
Bakken Electric Completes Georgia's First Privately Owned Tesla Supercharger Installation
Our crew installed an eight-stall Tesla V4 Supercharger station in Fairburn, Georgia — the first privately owned Tesla Supercharger site in the state. This is the launch of something much bigger: a national network of 420+ charging posts across nine states, led by Bakken Electric founder Bryan Hayes through U.S. Charging, LLC.

What We Built in Fairburn
The Fairburn site is an eight-stall Tesla V4 Supercharger station located at 7920 Senoia Road — directly along the Interstate 85 corridor in south Fulton County, Georgia. The station delivers up to 325 kW of fast-charging power and is compatible with every major electric vehicle through Tesla's Magic Dock, supporting both NACS and CCS connectors.
Drivers charging at the station have on-property access to Starbucks, with Tim Hortons located immediately adjacent. The site is just 14 miles from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport — the busiest passenger airport in the world — making it one of the most convenient fast-charging stops in the Southeast for commuters, rideshare drivers, airport travelers, and long-haul EV drivers on the I-85 corridor.
The station is open 24/7 with public access. No membership, no app required — just pull up and plug in.
From 5,000 Home Chargers to a National Supercharger Network
This project represents the natural evolution of what we've been building at Bakken Electric for over 25 years. We started installing home EV chargers when most electricians didn't know what a NEMA 14-50 was. We've now completed more than 5,000 EV charger installations across Minnesota — residential, commercial, fleet.
That experience is exactly what a project like this demands. A Tesla V4 Supercharger installation isn't a residential job — it's heavy commercial electrical work. High-voltage utility coordination. Transformer installation. Concrete work. Conduit runs. Cabinet-to-stall wiring for eight simultaneous 325 kW connections. Permitting in an unfamiliar jurisdiction 1,000 miles from home. Our crew handled all of it.
Fairburn is the first commissioned site in a much larger plan.
Introducing U.S. Charging, LLC
I founded U.S. Charging, LLC to do at a national scale what Bakken Electric has done across Minnesota — build reliable, high-quality EV charging infrastructure in the places people actually need it. U.S. Charging operates as a Charge Point Operator (CPO) under Tesla's Supercharger for Business program, deploying Tesla's V4 Supercharger platform across the country.
The company has an active pipeline of more than 420 charging posts scheduled for deployment over the next two years, with site work underway across nine states. Every site is purpose-built: high-traffic retail locations, highway corridors, and areas near major airports and travel hubs. We're pairing Tesla's industry-leading hardware — which maintains 99.95% network uptime — with disciplined site selection and experienced electrical contracting.
U.S. Charging is headquartered in Saint Paul, Minnesota — right next to Bakken Electric at 817 Vandalia Street.
Why This Matters for Our Customers
If you're a Bakken Electric customer getting a home charger installed in Minneapolis or St. Paul, you might wonder what a Supercharger station in Georgia has to do with you. The answer is everything.
The team that wires your garage is the same team that just delivered a commercial Tesla Supercharger installation on the I-85 corridor. The Master Electrician who assesses your panel is the same one building a national charging network. When we tell you we know EV charging better than anyone in Minnesota, Fairburn is the proof.
We're not a general contractor who added "EV chargers" to the website last year. We are the most experienced EV charging installer in the state — and now we're taking that expertise national.
What's Next
The Fairburn ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Friday, May 15, 2026. After that, our crews move to the next sites in the pipeline. We'll be sharing updates as new locations come online across the country.
For Bakken Electric customers in Minnesota: nothing changes. We're still here, still installing home chargers, commercial stations, off-peak meters, and panel upgrades — the same work we've always done, with the same team and the same commitment to quality. Now we're just doing it on a bigger stage too.
